Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting clothing? Yes, we are always looking for high quality, gently used clothing. Our inventory changes on a daily basis, and some days we will be able to accept certain items/sizes, while on another day we may not. We accept clothing seasonally, so give us a call or check our Facebook page to see what we're currently buying.
Do I need to make an appointment? No, we accept inventory every day except Sunday. You are welcome to bring your items Monday through Saturday 9:30 - 5:00.
Can I turn my store credit into cash? No, once you accept store credit, it has no cash value. If you're unable to use your store credit, you're welcome to donate it to someone else. Store Credit that has remained in our books untouched for 5 years will be donated to our community emergency fund.
How much will I recieve for my items? The amount we are able to pay for items depends on the size, style, brand, condition, and current inventory levels. We will look through your batch of items, and make an offer for the entire batch. We pay 30% in cash or 35% in store credit of what we expect to sell clothing, toys and small gear for. We pay higher amounts for specific high demand or higher priced items. You are free to choose cash or store credit, and get your money at that time. You do not need to wait for the item to sell, and we are taking on the risk that the item will not sell at the expected price, or even never sell at all. You are always welcome to decline the offer and take your items with you.
Why didn't you take my items? It's not personal! Sometimes clothing has been loved past the point of being able to be resold (i.e. stains, thinning of the knees, etc). Other times we may have too many of of a certain size, it may be the wrong season or just not an item our customers are looking for.
