Whippersnappers is owned and operated by Amy Nelson, a Brattleboro native, and her husband Tom. They have two "assistants" who you'll often see at the store, Olivia (age 21) and Cole (age 18), who were only 4 & 7 when Whippersnappers first opened!

Amy is a life long consignment and thrift store shopper, who can spot a fabulous brand and great deal at 20 paces. She has taught Lamaze classes for the past 22 years, and currently teaches childbirth, breastfeeding and other classes at Cheshire Medical Dartmouth Hitchcock in Keene, NH.  

Tom is a former IT guru (he spent 10 "Dilbert" years in the cubical village at Mass Mutual), and has had a lifelong dream of owning his own business. He is the computer brains and brawn behind our operation. Together we look forward to providing you with top-notch resource for all your children's clothing needs!
